mike vick

is mike vick overated???  I really thinks so.  11 of 19 for 123 when will people stop propping him up?  He had been in the league for 5 years 4 playing we wont count his injury season that cost dan reeves his job. San Diego really got the better of the deal in that trade.  Just my thoughts

Re: mike vick

First McCown, then Schaub...perhaps Charlie Batch *should* get the start for Pitt next weekend :)

And yes, the more I think about it, the happier I am with the trade we made with Vick.

If only the Chargers could get a secondary...a guy can wish, I guess.

Imagine if they kept Harrison?  Would of New England won the super bowl?  Would of the chargers lost to the jets?

Re: mike vick

Harrison was too expensive to keep around, though I'd gladly give up Rivers for Harrison (a healthy Harrison, that is).

We need to deal Harrison to a team that needs a QB and has some veteran secondary guy who's expendable. My fear's that we'll trade him to a team for draft picks, which we'll use on DBs, and the whole cycle of suck will start over again. Aside from Schottenheimer's "fetal position" offensive attack (strike big, then play cautious down the stretch) and our secondary, we have a helluva good football team here. It's just that where we're bad, we're glaringly, alarmingly, terribly bad.

i hope the Iggles get thier shit together before 10.23.  3-3 with 10 weeks to go is not a good place to be

i think the chargers are tight as long as LT gets the rock

Re: mike vick

Vick seems to win games, no matter how fugly/low his stat totals are.  He does seem too fragile, maybe it's the Michael Vick Experience ride.

We live with Brett Favre no matter how many interceptions he throws because he wins games (albeit just in the regular season).

Green Bay Beat New England in the 95-96 Season for the Lombardi Trophy I believe.  If it wasnt 95-96 then it was 96-97.  Farve and Reggie White led the way

I was really referring to his meltdowns of the past five years.  I have a sixth sense when it comes to Brett's interceptions, I just feel them coming on.

(live in Wisconsin, seen every single game of his, yo)

Super Bowl win was in Jan. 97 ... ahh, memories.
